My first car was a British sports car, an Austin-Healey Bug-Eyed Sprite. I was a teenager, and I loved that thing. Then, like it does for most of us, life took over. The car went away. I spent the next twenty years building a business, raising a family, and honestly not thinking much about cars at all.
Then 2001 came around. I was burned out, sold the business, and took four months to do absolutely nothing. And when the dust settled, one thought kept coming back: I’ve always wanted to race.
So I bought another Bug-Eyed Sprite, a nationally competitive race car this time, and got back into the world I’d been missing. I started showing up at races, talking to guys, and eventually buying and selling parts on the side. Wheels, seats, fire suppression systems, camera mounts, a little bit of everything. But the only thing that really took off was the wheels.
That was over 25 years ago. We’ve gone from one wheel mold to over 40, serving owners of Porsche 914s, Sunbeam Tigers, MGBs, and dozens more, here in the US and around the world.
