4x130 Bolt Pattern Wheels for Porsche 914 and VW
4x130 is the Volkswagen four-lug pattern, sometimes written 4x5.12". It is a wide circle for four studs, and it went on the Porsche 914 because the 914 shared its running gear with VW.
Cars on 4x130:
- Porsche 914 1969-1976, four-cylinder
- Volkswagen Beetle 1968 and later
- Volkswagen Karmann Ghia 1968 and later
- Volkswagen Type 3 1966-1973
Our 4x130 wheels are below. If you are fitting a 914, Alex has done a lot of them. Call 866-855-3473.
The 914/6 is a different car underneath
The six-cylinder 914/6 did not use the VW hubs. It came with five-lug Porsche hubs on 5x130mm, the same as the 911. A 4x130 wheel will not fit a 914/6, and plenty of four-cylinder cars have been converted to five-lug since. Count the studs before you order.
Early Beetles are not 4x130
Volkswagen built the Beetle on a five-lug pattern until the late sixties. Only the later cars are 4x130. If your Beetle has five studs, these wheels are not for it.
Measuring a wide four-lug circle
Measure straight across, from the center of one stud to the center of the stud opposite. 130mm is just over 5.1 inches. On a small car that can look like the wrong number, which is part of why people second-guess it. Trust the tape.
Wider tires on a 914
914 owners often want more tire than the factory fitted. The fenders allow some of that, and offset decides the rest. Every 4x130 wheel in the listing shows its offset. If you are going wider than stock, call before ordering.
Should I verify my bolt pattern before ordering?
Yes, always verify your bolt pattern before placing an order. Vintage and classic cars can have unique or uncommon bolt patterns, and specifications sometimes varied between model years or production runs.
