5x4.25" Bolt Pattern Wheels (5x108mm)

5x4.25" and 5x108mm are the same circle. On classic cars it is mostly a Volvo pattern, introduced on the 1800E and carried through the 240 and beyond.

Cars we fit on 5x4.25":

Our 5x4.25" wheels are listed below. The 240 has a few front-only and rear-only sizes, so call Alex at 866-855-3473 if you want a staggered set.

Which 1800 do you have?

The P1800 and 1800S ran 5x114.3mm. When Volvo introduced the 1800E it moved to 5x108mm, and the 1800ES kept it. The two patterns are only 6.3mm apart, so check the car rather than the badge. Many 1800s have been converted one way or the other.

Measuring a 5x108 hub

Measure center to center between two neighboring studs. On 5x108mm that comes out at about 63.5mm. On 5x114.3mm it is about 67.2mm. The difference is easy to see with a caliper and impossible to see by eye.

Staggered sets for the 240

Some of our 240 sizes are made front-only or rear-only so the rear can run a wider wheel than the front. If you order a staggered set, the wheels cannot be rotated front to back. Plan your tire wear around that.

Should I verify my bolt pattern before ordering?

Yes, always verify your bolt pattern before placing an order. Vintage and classic cars can have unique or uncommon bolt patterns, and specifications sometimes varied between model years or production runs. If you're ever unsure about your fitment, the team at VTO Wheels is happy to help. Reach out at sales@vtowheels.com or call 1 (866) 855-3473.
